So first of all I would like to tell you that if you get placement from college then it is better. Friends, if there is no placement from college or there is a two tier college where there are very few or almost no campus interviews, then how can we prepare that we can get a job in the first IT interview.

Friends, though almost every company has different procedure of recruitment but we have included all the steps which are followed in almost every company. According to the criteria of the company, these steps can also be reduced but cannot be more than this.

Friends, you have to prepare interview preparation along with you in your final year only then you can crack your first interview in a multinational company.

     1. Written Test: 

     The first steps in any IT interview are written test and this step is 99% compulsory. In this round, you are given some questions related to Basic Aptitude and Reasoning which are very basic. You should prepare aptitude along with your final year. By the way, you can do aptitude well in 1 month but you will have to give more time in it. If you prepare it your college time together then it will be very easy and you will be able to solve questions very easily and there will not be much burden.For the preparation of aptitude you can refer the book of Aptitude of RS Agarwal.

      2.Basic HR Round: 

    Friends Next Round is a small 5-10 minute round to check your basic communication skill. Where some basic questions are asked to you like introduce yourself, your hobbies, weakness, strengthen they just want to check your communication skill that how much you are comfortable with English. They just want to see that you can reply or not in English.

      3. Group Discussion:

      Friends, earlier I told the basic HR round  is similar to the group discussion but the only difference is that if a number of students are more for same interview  then there is a can be group discussion round. A group of 5 to 10 students is formed where topics are given to them on which they have to give their views or debate is also given there. But when there is only 1-2 students are interviewed they do basic HR rounds. So friends, you will have either a Basics HR round or a group discussion.

     4.Basic Technical Round:

      Friends, some basic technical questions are asked to you in this round so that they will know that you know something technically. In the technical round, most of the questions are related to your C++ object oriented programming and basic questions are asked from C, data structure and most important but not last DBMS SQL.
So friends, you should read the basics from C, C++ and Data Structure and do SQL very well, go through the practice of many questions so that you can complete this round easily.

  
     5.Advanced Technical Round:  

     Friends In this round you are not asked advanced questions from C, C++ or data structure. Whatever technology you have applied such as .Net, PHP, android, Java or other technology.  You are asked deep questions related to the technology in interview so that they can know how much you are comfort to work on that technology.

For this, you must create at least 2 projects in the final year so that you will get to know about the complete software development life cycle i.e. How the project is made, what requirements have to be collected, what user interface should be there, how data transfer is done, how a complete database is created and how it is used. Always strengthen your database and go to any interview.

     6. Machine Test:

    Friends after technical round your practical skills are checked using machine test so that they will know how you are coding, how to apply logic and how much time you take to complete the task.
In this round, you are given some questions from your related technology, which have to be performed practically. These questions are related to Project implementation such as creating user interface, inserting data, updating, displaying data in a data source. All this asks you to do what you have done in your project.

     7. Managerial Round:

    Friends, if you reach this round, almost your selection is done. In this round, only through project manager you have introduction and some discussion with the team members on which project you are going to work on.

      8. HR Interview & Offer letter:

    When you reach here, confidence automatically doubles because you have come here after clearing multiple rounds. In this round, your introduction with the HR of the company takes place and some basic questions are related to your appointment and the company's policy. Then finally you are given the offer letter.

Short Summary Steps to Follow Crack an  Interview in IT Companies


1. You must at least do the project practically yourself.
2. Improve communication skills.
3. Must read subject basic C, C++ and data structure.
4. Read SQL queries practically.
5. Formal attire with complete file folder with all related document.
